Job Description Rail Transportation Billing Specialist - Decatur, ILThis is a full time, non- exempt position.Position Summary:The transportation billing specialist will play a critical role in supporting ADM business units and the transportation supply chain through the execution of diversions, shipping instructions and other transportation related functions.
This position requires after-hours/weekend/ holiday on call rotation and coverage for colleague's vacation.
The person needs to have a desire to learn various functions within the transportation department and have the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
Job Responsibilities:Must be able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule.
Remote work during weekend/holiday hours is available.Accurately problem solve to resolve discrepanciesDemonstrate interpersonal communications skills and work well with others for conflict resolution train on other responsibilitiesCross within the teamWork in IBM, RMS and various rail road web applicationsOn time execution of orders, meeting various deadlines for different ADM facilitiesAct as a liaison with ADM IT departments and railroads to problem solve system related and other issues as they ariseAnalytical skills / Problem resolutionContinuous improvementJob Requirements:H.S diploma required plus 3 years office experience preferredAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentAttention to detail with ability to problem solve discrepanciesOrganization and time management skillsAbility to set goals, prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlinesKnowledge of IBM (IMS & CICS) preferredKnowledge of rail transportation is a plusSitting for extended periods of timeExtensive keyboard operationsThis position offers a complete benefit package, including 401K/ESOP, pension, health, life and dental insurance. ADM requires the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and a background check.
