This role will provide insightful information related to driver based performance and forecasting, with emphasis on understanding variances versus annual plan/forecast. Click here to hear from our 2023 Summer Interns on why this internship is for YOU!Job ResponsibilitiesDuring our intense 12-week program, interns will work collaboratively with the Business and Finance teams to analyze and report monthly resultsprovide variance analysis compared to most recent forecast/annual Plan.provide analytical support to the global business unit teams to understand business unit drivers of performanceundertake special projects for business leadership and FPA leads as neededJob RequirementsStrong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills and a solutions focused mindset are necessary to adapt to a rapidly changing environmentPossess initiative, as well as strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Collaborate with local colleagues to provide insight and support strategic goalsDedication to utilize technology applications that are critical to performing accounting functionsSTRENGTHS OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE (qualifications)Able to complete an internship in the summer (May/June-August 2024)Must be geographically flexible to relocate to ADM sitesCurrently pursuing a BA or BS
in Finance or related degree with an anticipated graduation between December 2024 and Summer 2026Preferred GPA of 3.0 and aboveStrong presentation and interpersonal skills, both verbal and writtenCritical thinking skills and ability to breakdown complex problemsInterest in the agriculture industryAbility to successfully work through conflictsCapable of balancing multiple projects and prioritiesAbility to function effectively, both independently and with a teamExcellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to collaborate within various levels of an organizationExpert organizational and time-management skillsProficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook and TeamsOpen to interning in Decatur, IL.
