Overview Front Desk Receptionist The primary function of the front desk receptionist will be to greet incoming guests and answer incoming calls to filter to the appropriate department or team member. With more than 1,400 dental offices supported across 38 states, over 10,000 team members and over 2,300 supported doctors in our support, Heartland Dental has a proven track record of growth and success. We're looking for professional individuals who are open, positive and mentally flexible to join our network of support. Early 2018, KKR became Heartland Dental's new lead investor, With Ontario Teacher's Pension Plan (OTTP) remaining a minority investor. KKR's resources and partnership have opened up many new opportunities to further advance the company's growth. To give you an idea of the team structure, you will work on a team with other administrative assistants and provide support where needed within the functions of the Admin team scope, reporting to the Manager of Administration. Responsibilities Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role: Assist the Admin Department with a wide variety of matters relating to greeting guests and answering incoming calls to Heartland Dental, while providing administrative support where needed. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Basic phone system knowledge. Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks while providing exceptional customer service. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to answer telephone calls and communicate information to callers. Ability to interact with co-workers in a collegial manner to accomplish common tasks. High level of maturity, personal initiative and sound judgement. Attendance and punctuality are essential. Ability to mulit0task and juggle several things at once. Desirable Qualifications: Phone and computer system experience. Experience in customer service.
