MILLIKIN UNIVERSITY invites applications for a full-time,
tenure-track Assistant Professor of Choral Music Education to join
its nationally recognized choral, vocal jazz and music education
Candidates must possess a doctorate in choral
music/conducting, music education, or other appropriately related
terminal degree by the time of hire (EdD, PhD, or DMA).
Sustained success in secondary school teaching is expected.
Evidence of teaching and conducting at the college level is
Primary responsibilities include: directing one of
the traditional choral ensembles; teaching undergraduate courses in
music education; and directing OneVoice, Millikin's nationally
recognized vocal jazz ensemble.
