In this role, you will be instrumental in building best-in-class
manufacturing operational practices in support of producing the
next generation of water infrastructure products that deliver clean
and safe drinking water to communities across North America. Our
manufacturing technologies spans across the value chain from
casting, machining, and assembly to manufacture current state of
the art and next-generation IoT products to monitor, alert, and
inform operators of real-time conditions within their clean water
distribution network.
Focused in Mueller foundry engineering and operations, the ideal
candidate will leverage their strong technical knowledge to develop
and deploy solutions for optimized productivity, asset utilization,
and cost reduction. This position is an integral part of Mueller's
long term growth strategy in growing and accelerating technical
capabilities in its foundry operations. This role will provide a
broad range of experiences in various facets to accelerate
development of foundry knowledge areas and operations. The Foundry
Development Engineering Program will offer experience across the
spectrum of foundry knowledge areas including Metallurgy,
Simulation, Lost Foam, Green Sand DISA, Tool Design, Equipment,
Design, Layout, Quality, and Operations Support. Rotations will
involve leading and managing mission critical projects in one or
more of our foundries to deliver process, performance, cost, and
efficiency improvements.
