POSITION: Automation Control Engineer

We have 14 U.S. offices serving markets throughout the country and have experienced significant growth through territory and market expansion. We are expanding our automation division to better serve our customers.

Opportunity:

Yamazen has an immediate opening for an Automation Control Engineer to join our team. As an Automation Control Engineer, you will be responsible for robot programming, plc programming and developing of HMI's. The chosen candidate will enjoy working from a state-of-the-art technical facility at our new NA Headquarters in Elk Grove, IL. Our main focus will be to automate our Brother, Matsuura's and Takisawa lines. In addition, the individual will collaborate with application engineers from Brother and Yamazen to develop a robot interface utilizing ethernet. The candidate will also help with the search of additional personnel for the current and future growth or our team.

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

• The preferred candidate will possess a strong machining background that includes:
• Understanding CNC machine tools, both in turning and milling
• PLC programming and developing of HMI's
• Experience with end of arm tooling design, not required
• Project Management
• Programming of robots
• Great organization and prioritization skills
• A strong work ethic and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines
• Strong verbal and written skills.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required
