Job Description:

The Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance of the Hydraulic Crane, some commercial motor vehicles, roll-off containers, and electrical systems on all mobile equipment that is used in the scrap metal recycling yard.Duties

Diagnose, and repair engines & hydraulic systems, brakes, and routine maintenance.
Replace parts and components when necessary to rebuild units at regular intervals.
Weld (Mig/Stick)
Preventative Maintenance of all trailers
Major and minor parts changing, suspension, and wheel end maintenance.
Perform all safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documents required by FMCSA, the company, and any other Federal, State, or Local regulations.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Mig/Stick Welding
- Have your tools
- Class A or B CDL (preferred not required)
- Hydraulic knowledge
