Chevrolet is seeking an Automotive Experienced Technician to join
our team in Decatur, IL. In this role, you will utilize your
technical expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of
vehicle makes and models, ensuring high standards of quality and
customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform diagnostics,
maintenance, and repairs on vehicles including engines,
transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Use specialized
tools and equipment to identify and fix mechanical issues
efficiently and accurately. Diagnose vehicle problems using
computerized diagnostics and manual inspection methods. Communicate
clearly with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle
issues and repair recommendations. Maintain detailed records of
services performed and parts used. Follow company safety procedures
and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Requirements
Proven experience as an automotive technician with strong
diagnostic skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of
a team. Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance tools,
equipment, and procedures. Strong attention to detail and
commitment to quality workmanship. Valid driver’s license and clean
driving record. Certification from an accredited automotive
technical school or ASE certification preferred. Benefits
