This is an exempt level position.
Position Summary:
ADM seeks a Risk Manager - Property to lead the design, implementation and operation of ADM's property insurance program and certain other lines of coverage inside ADM's risk management program. We are looking for an analytical, innovative, solution-oriented person with the desire and ability to drive improvement, identify efficiencies, and partner with our ADM colleagues to implement and communicate insurance solutions for existing and emerging risks.
Job Responsibilities:
The position will be responsible for the following:

• Partnering with internal stakeholders to manage and update the valuations of ADM's portfolio of worldwide properties;
• Working across the global organization to identify existing and emerging risks and designing insurance solutions for those risks;
• In connection with ADM's external insurance broker team, placing optimal insurance coverages, utilizing market-based solutions and ADM's captive, to manage ADM's risk;
• Reporting on all aspects of property and other responsible lines of insurance, including allocations and collection of premium;
• Provide support to internal and external claims team on large and complex property claims, including guidance on coverage terms and limits;
• Leading teams and partnering with other members of the Insurance & Risk Management Group on department initiatives to drive efficiencies and strengthen results.Job Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) required.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in insurance, risk management, or finance. Alternatively, relevant experience may substitute for a degree in these particular fields.
