About the roleThe position is the Local EHS Team Leader and will provide technical safety and health support for all aspects of the plant. This includes the development and implementation of programs and objectives and day-to-day support for safety and health initiatives for all areas. More specifically, you will be responsible for:Preparing, implementing, and positively promoting EHS Management SystemsReviewing EHS performance to ensure company objectives and expectations are metInvolving al employees in the relevant EHS plans for activities and servicesAssessing the existence and effectiveness of EHS plans through audits and reviewsReviewing and tracking corrective actions for all incidents, defects, hazards, inadequacies of procedures and suggested improvementsImplementing leadership requirements specified in the EHS Management StandardsLead safety teams and Incident InvestigationsMaintain an in-depth knowledge of applicable safety requirements What you bring to us:Bachelor's degree in related field, CSP preferredMinimum of 5 years' experience in process/food industrial environmentPrevious safety management experienceStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsExperience in root cause investigation techniquesKnowledgeable of Environmental and Safety Compliance is preferredSafety/Environmental Management Systems familiarity(i.e., ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or similar.) if preferred #LI-JB1 California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") The Company is committed to complying with the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") and all data privacy and laws in the jurisdictions in which it recruits and hires employees.
