Job Description Manager, Global OT IX Applications- Any ADM Manufacturing Location This is a full-time, exempt position. As a key member of the Operational Technology (OT) team, you will be responsible for advancing the standardization and innovation of Operational Technology Industrial Transformation (IX) applications architecture, support, and engineering globally.You will work closely with OT engineers, Process Automation (PA) engineers, and partner with key business segments to ensure the successful delivery of OT solutions to ADM operations. Responsibilities:Direct, manage and maintain OT IX applications ecosystem globallyPartner with Process Automation and Manufacturing Analytics teams to drive the establishment and communication of IX applications architecture and procedure standardsDrive development and implementation of OT IX applications architecture strategic direction, with a focus on optimization of resources and plant up-time Service Level Agreements (SLAs)Work with Manufacturing Analytics team to maintain compliance for IX-related licensingManage the collection of application requirements, techniques and controls of affected functional departments in order to determine problem areas and to provide operationally efficient solutionsFollow OT project methodology guidelines and standards and drive team adoptionCoordinate application activities with other OT/Process Automation/Manufacturing Analytics managers to help prevent plant interruptions (upgrades, patching, etc.)Participate in vendor evaluations, recommend and review functional and overall application design, and complete technical planning to improve systems productivity and efficiencyManage, develop, coach, and motivate direct reports through diversity and inclusion, leadership capabilities, Ability to Execute (A2E) and Performance Excellence (PE)Manage third-party suppliers/contractors (where applicable)Some travel and on call are expected as part of this position as a member of the Global OT Leadership TeamRequirements:Minimum of Associates Degree in a technical area (computer science, engineering, etc.), Bachelor's Degree preferred7+ years of experience supporting critical IX or manufacturing-related applications and software5+ years of experience managing technical staff, including a 24x7 staff5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of automation/control applications and IX applications (Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Wonderware, Emerson, OSI PI, Agile Ops, Plant Web Optics, Docker, GitHub, Aspen, Augmented Reality solutions, Shift Connector, OPC and similar technologies) Demonstrated experience managing the lifecycle, maintenance, and upgrades of IX applications Ability to think 'outside the box' Strong communication skills - communicate at a conceptual level as well as at a hands-on, practical levelHighly motivated, self-starterComfortable working with cross-functional global teamsStrong documentation and organizational skillsMust have the ability to skillfully manage multiple projects simultaneously and succeed in an environment of competing prioritiesDemonstrated ability to lead by delivering on commitments and managing by exampleDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment; a willingness to learn new skills and take direction from other team members; and ability to organize information and manage time efficiently.This position offers a complete benefit package, including 401K/ESOP, pension, health, life and dental insurance.
