Job Description:
South Side Country Club is excited to announce the exceptional
career opportunity of Events & Banquet Manager. Qualified
candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly
focused on providing superior service to the clubs managed by
Troon.
Key Responsibilities of the Events & Banquet Manager:
- Maintain events calendar and events banquet orders
- Maintain the club social calendar and keep all department heads
informed of up coming events
- Work with members on private events, food & beverage needs and
decorations
- Secure events down payments, contracts, and maintain clear and
accurate communication with members and guest
- Work closely with social and golf committee on events
calendar
- Utilizes Troon's tools and software's to ensure all BEOs and
events orders are provided to all department heads
- Maintain constant and clear communication with Clubs General
Manager, Beverages Manager and Executive Chef
- Ensure all events and banquets are set up in a timely manner
-Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications for the Banquet Coordinator:
-High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three
to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
- Knowledgeable and skilled in Microsoft office
- Highly organized and effective communicator
- Experience in events and catering management
- Efficient in time management
- Customer service oriented
- Experience in Food & Beverage and restaurants (a plus)
- Skills with Triple Seat event Management software (a plus)
Other Qualifications:
-Regular and reliable attendance.
