Job Description Commercialization Project Manager
- Harvard, ILThis is a full-time, Exempt position.Job Summary: As a
Commercialization Project Manager in our CD&D department, you
will play a pivotal role in driving the successful transition of
pet food products from concept to commercial reality. You will work
with cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and
delivery of new products, ensuring alignment with our business
goals and adherence to deadlines.Responsibilities:Project
Leadership: Serve as the new product development leader, working
close to product developers and stakeholders to achieve project
completion within strict deadlines, supporting overarching business
goals.Schedule Management: Strategically plan and adjust project
timelines to meet critical deadlines, ensuring smooth integration
with other business activities.Cross-Functional Teamwork: Work
closely with diverse teams (CD&D, supply chain, purchasing,
manufacturing, and quality) on site, managing projects from start
to finish while maintaining clear, consistent communication to hit
milestones and deadlines.Process Adherence: Guarantee that every
project follows the established new product development
implementation flow, including the completion of pre-plant and
post-plant trial forms, as well as process and product
specifications.Visibility Assurance: Ensure CD&D maintains
awareness of trial dates and first production runs, facilitating
planning and resource allocation.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree
in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related
field.Demonstrated project management experience, ideally within
pet food commercialization or R&D in related sectors.CPM or PMP
is a plus.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with
experience in handling projects across various locations.Skilled in
using project management software and tools.Ability to work under
pressure and manage multiple projects
simultaneously.Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality
