Allergy/Immunology opening in Decatur, Illinois. Certified Nurse Midwife opening near Springfield, IL - visa eligible Located in Decatur, IL - just 40 miles from Springfield, IL! Full-time, permanent opening Employed position Joining an established group of physicians, APCs, and midwives Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities Clinic hours: 8am - 5pm Hospital coverage: in-house for 24 hours, 7am - 7am Schedule varies week to week, but the goal is 1 inpatient & 2 outpatient days per week Could also be 2 inpatient days or 1 inpatient day and 2 outpatient days Patients seen are all typical for OBGYN and Women's Health No procedures other than first assist on c-sections and repairs of tears after delivery Average # of patients/day: Hospital days vary significantly; Clinic days can range from 20-25 Hospital is a 230-bed facility Delivered over 700 babies last year and has 24/7 Midwives in-house The OB floor has beautiful birthing suites and Special Care Nursery Newly expanded surgical suites have the latest, most advanced medical technology including the Da Vinci Robot Guaranteed base salary (based on 40 hours/week) + wRVUs Dependent on experience Commencement bonus Housing/Relocation Decatur area: Decatur was ranked Best Small Metro Area in America by Forbes Magazine Located less than an hour from SIU in Springfield and University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign Diverse population due to the large medical community and 3 international corporations in town (Caterpillar, Tate and Lyle, ADM Corp) Home to Millikin University and Richland College just 45 minutes to SIU School of Medicine in Springfield and 45 minutes to Univ of IL in Champaign Thirty-six miles of Lake Decatur shoreline offer lovely home sites, spectacular views, and any water sport you desire.
