Pediatrics opening in Mattoon, Illinois. Pediatrician needed in Mattoon, IL Located about 2 hours from St. Louis, MO and 3 hours from Chicago, IL Position Details: - Full-time, permanent position - Work schedule: M-F, 8-5pm - Call schedule: 1:4 clinic only - Outpatient only. The medical center has dedicated peds hospitalists. - Average patients per day: 15-20 but potential for as many as an eager person would want - Number of other providers in the practice: 3 - This clinic is on the main campus and has one doc and 3 very well-established and well-loved APRNs. One of the current Pediatricians is leaving as her husband is pursuing a new position. Compensation and Benefits: - Compensation: Base salary + production incentives + quality incentives - Employed position with a progressive and financially secure Health System. - Paid malpractice - CME - Relocation assistance - Strong pension plan - Health, vision, dental, life and disability coverage - 33 vacation days Additional Information: - Centrally located in Mattoon, Health Center is a 128-bed, community hospital in East Central Illinois - 180 miles south of Chicago and 130 miles east of St. Louis. - The Health Center provides a full range of acute-care, general services and home health services to approximately 357,000 residents of Coles and the surroundings 12 counties.
