General job duties. Types of procedures required.General nursing
duties: assessments q4h, medication administration, reassessment of
interventions, ADL (do have tech support), blood administration,
apply back and neck brace, Gtube feeding, IV insertion and
maintenance, central line use and maintenance, pain management,
dressing changes, oral care, turning, restraints, etcTypes of
patients: All Neuroscience. Neck and back spinal surgery, stroke,
brain tumor, seizure, head injury, MS, Myasthenia Gravis,
Peripheral neuropathy, encephalopathy, Spinal fractures,
etcEquipment utilized in the unit/dept. EPIC, Vocera, Pyxis, No
lift equipment in all but 5 roomsRequired skills and minimum years
of experience.Minimum required to travelSpecific licensures and
certifications/registrations required. RN, BLS, NIHSS certification
(required)Shift or schedule requirements. 12 hour shifts, three
