Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/14/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Position Details: - Facility: Acute Care Hospital (Magnet; Level I Trauma Center) - Location: Illinois - Unit: Oncology - Census: Avg. 24 patients; 24 beds - Contract Length: 13 weeks (91 days) Shift & Scheduling: - Shift: Days – 4x12s or 3x12s ? 07:15 – 18:45 - Weekends: Every other weekend - Guaranteed Hours: Yes (but facility may cancel up to 36 hours per 13 weeks) - Floating: Yes, required (within hospital or to affiliates nearby) Certifications Required: - Required: - BLS - IL RN License - Flu Vaccine - COVID Vaccine Experience Required: - Minimum 1 year of Oncology RN experience - First-time travelers accepted Key Skills Required: - Chemotherapy: - IV push, continuous infusion, oral administration, chemo monitoring, cytotoxic spill management - IV/Infusion Therapy: - Accessing/maintaining ports, central/PICC line care, blood administration, antivirals/antifungals/coagulation factors, starting IVs About Nationwide Therapy Group NTG is a proud partner with healthcare professionals across the country.
