Job Description Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Decatur, Illinois. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/03/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Position / Specialty: ICU RN(CVICU Preferred)/nShift: Nights (1800-0630)/n20 rooms/beds on unit. 1:5 ratios for all shifts./nYears of experience REQ: Minimum 2 years' experience required./nWeekend REQ: Will work every other weekend./nCerts REQ: ACLS, BLC, NIH required./nIs on-call REQ? No./nWill clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float as needed./nOpen to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager./nRTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days./nSpecial Requirements: Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Obtain 12 lead EKG. Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention skills/experience required. Chronic/Acute Renal failure experience required. Required IV therapy skills/experience: Accessing ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting IVs. Required Medication Experience: Continuous IV sedation, Emergency medications, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips. CVA/Acute Stroke management experience required. Required Respiratory/Thoracic Skills/Experience: Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management.
