Job Description Medical Solutions Direct Hire is seeking a CT Technologist for a job in Peoria, Illinois. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: Ongoing - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Staff Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist I - PERMANENT POSITION Location: Peoria, Illinois Schedule: Full Time – Nights (3 x 12-hour shifts), Weekend & Holiday Rotation Position Summary The CT Technologist provides patient-centered imaging services within Computed Tomography. Performs CT examinations and procedures under the direction of a radiologist, ensuring diagnostic image quality and maintaining the highest standards of safety. Administers ionizing radiation in accordance with ALARA principles and all regulatory guidelines while delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate care. Total Rewards & Compensation - Hourly pay range: $33.85 – $44.30 (based on experience and internal equity) - Night Shift Differential: $2.75 - Weekend Differential: $2.50 - $20,000 Sign-On Bonus - Experience Incentive: Candidates with 5 years direct experience receive 24 hours of vacation/holiday time on day one. Responsibilities - Perform CT exams and procedures with attention to image quality and patient safety - Administer radiation following ALARA and regulatory standards - Provide clear communication and supportive patient care - Utilize imaging systems and computer applications accurately - Demonstrate strong problem-solving and attention to detail - Collaborate with radiology and care team to support diagnostic goals Education Associate’s Degree Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program Licensure/Certification ARRT (Radiography) IEMA BLS CPR Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft applications Detail oriented with effective analytical abilities Preferred Qualifications Completion of a CT certification program CT Certification This is a permanent, full-time CT Technologist opportunity.
