strengths-focused culture Salary: Starting at $40,000.00 About the
Position: Provide crisis screening, assessment, counseling, and
case coordination services to children in psychiatric crisis and
their families. A Typical Day as a Sass Therapist: Provide crisis
screening, assessment, and appropriate referrals for children at
risk of psychiatric hospitalization. Work with The CYFS team,
community providers, and inpatient providers to implement
SASS-Mobile Crisis program goals in order to provide the most
appropriate and effective treatment in the least restrictive
setting. Participate in staffings with hospitals, minimally at 72
hour staffing and discharge staffing. Interact with CARES line to
facilitate a child's eligibility for services. Coordinate on-call
schedule with crisis assessment team. Provide follow-up case
management and therapy services to SASS-Mobile Crisis community
cases. Complete all required case documentation. Access SASS-FSP
Flex funding to optimize client access to community resources.
Participate in all required and requested training and supervision
processes established by Mobile Crisis/FSP Supervisor, including
the initial and ongoing training for the SASS-Mobile Crisis
Program. Accurately record all clinical activity for billing/credit
service purposes. Maintains all official client records by
utilizing and completing all required agency administrative and
Mobile Crisis-SASS Program forms as per the handbook and Medicaid
record-keeping requirements. Interact with SASS-Mobile Crisis
Supervisor and team therapists in intake and assignment of new
cases. How you will spend your time in this position: 40% Direct
Service Crisis Screening 20% Direct Service -other 30%

Schedule is flexible and non-traditional; based on the availability

Qualifications: Completion of DCFS criminal background check and
fingerprinting Must be at least 21 years of age Obtain an insured
vehicle At least three years of driving experience with a valid
driver's license Desired Skills: Interpersonal Skills Conflict
Resolution Mediation Documentation Bilingual (Not Required)
