Job Description:
Overview The Hospital Discharge Service Driver is responsible
for transporting wheelchair bound patients in a wheelchair
accessible van from medical facilities to locations within the
region. Assists in AMSEC when needed. Qualifications
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American
Heart Association (AHA)American Heart Association (AHA); Driver's
License - Illinois Secretary of State (ILSOS)Secretary of State
(SOS), Education: H.S. Diploma/GED, Work Experience: Driving
Responsibilities Assists staff at medical facilities in moving
patients into and out of wheelchairs Transports wheelchair bound
patients in a wheelchair accessible van from medical facilities to
locations within the region. Clean and keep wheeel chair vans in

The compensation range for this position is $16.59per hour -
$26.88per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum
range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The
actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a
variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s
experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts
