Trustaff is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Peoria, Illinois. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Licensure & Certifications: - Active IL RN License - BLS (American Heart Assoc.) required Education: - Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Qualifications: - Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience - Knowledge of nursing process, trends, and technology - Ability to manage financial and human resources in patient care - Strong communication and documentation skills - Competence in patient assessment, care planning, interventions, and procedures - Ability to maintain safety, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development Assignment Type & Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Weekend: Every other Holiday: Every other Floating Requirements: May float to sister facilities Provides professional nursing care for Med/Surg patients, applying nursing theories and processes while ensuring patient and staff safety.
