management, renal failure - IV therapy/phlebotomy
skills/experience: accessing ports, blood product administration,
central line blood draw, peripheral line care/management, PICC line
management, starting IVs - Medication skills/experience: heparin,
insulin, PCA - Respiratory case skills/experience: CPAP/BiPAP, high
flow nasal cannula, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management,
oral suctioning, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tank,
tracheostomy management - Professional knowledge and skills:
isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac - Charting experience
with Cerner required Description: The position is for a Medical
Surgical RN. The average daily census is 35 patients. The candidate
will work every other weekend. Floating within the facility is
required as needed per department needs. Weekend coverage is part
of the expected duties. The average patient ratio is 6-7.
Interdisciplinary support is available, including IV teams,
physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. The
patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Common patient
diagnoses include CHF, DKA, sepsis, UTI, cellulitis, and
osteomyelitis. Special procedures performed include foot and leg
amputations, peritoneal and hemodialysis, and thoracentesis.
Special equipment utilized includes bladder scanners, glucometers,
