Registered Nurse (RN) | Neuro Location: Decatur, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,200 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical - Neuro Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Active Illinois license required Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required Must-Have: - Med/Surg experience - Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills - Gastrointestinal case skills - IV therapy and phlebotomy skills - Medication experience (Heparin, Insulin, PCA) - Neurological/psychiatric case skills - Respiratory case skills - Professional knowledge in isolation precautions and wound care Description: Position is for a Medical Surgical Neuro Registered Nurse. The shift is three 12-hour days. The average daily census is 32 patients. Local candidates are accepted with no radius restrictions. Candidates must work every other weekend. This position does not require on-call duty. Clinicians will float as needed within the facility. Candidates must have experience in telemetry remote monitoring. Required skills include accessing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draw, and starting IVs. Experience in colostomy care, feeding tube care, surgical drains, and chest tube management is essential. Candidates should also include experience with trauma, neurological assessments, and tracheostomy management. Knowledge of Cerner charting system is required. Candidates should have experience with isolation precautions and wound care management. Additional experience in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias is preferred. Teaching hospital experience is preferred along with trauma level II experience. Shift flexibility is required to meet patient care needs.
