In this role, you will utilize state-of-the-art technology to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services, directly impacting patient care and outcomes. This position encourages professional growth and active participation in a forward-thinking healthcare setting. Operate CT imaging equipment to produce images of high diagnostic quality. Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on CT equipment. Prepare patients for CT scans, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and safety. Administer contrast media as per physician instructions. Analyze results from diagnostic imaging procedures to determine appropriate next steps for patient care. Maintain patient records and radiologic logs, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy laws. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to determine diagnostic or treatment plans. Proficiency in operating and maintaining CT imaging equipment. Ability to interpret physicians’ instructions and CT imaging results. Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare staff. Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and compliance with health regulations. Capability to handle multiple tasks concurrently under high-pressure situations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified and registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) by the ARRT Valid certification to perform CT scans is a must CPR certification is often required.
