OverviewPayroll Specialist Heartland Dental is looking to expand
our team! We are searching for a full-time Payroll Specialist to

Specialist, you will serve as the point of contact for payroll with
offices and employees from across the nation. You will process
accurate and timely payroll for employees from various business
units, maintain employee information and provide payroll expense
and demographic reporting. Payroll specialists work with employees
at all levels of the company - providing exceptional customer
service and assisting with each employee's payroll needs. The
Payroll Specialist position is challenging yet vital to Heartland
Dental's success as a leader in our industry.We are open to a
hybrid work schedule for this position (remote & working in the
office)Heartland Dental proudly supports over 1,500 doctor-led
dental offices and more than 20,000 team members across the

for our next perfect fit!To give you an idea of the team structure,
you will work on a team of payroll specialists, reporting to a
Payroll Supervisor, Payroll Manager and Payroll Director.
ResponsibilitiesBelow is an overview of the duties and
responsibilities you would take on in this role:Accurately analyze,
prepare and input payroll in Human Capital Management System
(UltiPro) for assigned business units including tax setup and
garnishmentsProcess employee changes including new hires, reviews,
status changes, transfers and terminationsPrepare weekly, monthly,
quarterly and year-end payroll reportsAssist team members in
assigned regions and departments with questions regarding
payroll-related itemsField requests from field, operations, and
home office departments for data housed in UltiProTrack vacation
for both hourly and salary employeesAccurately set up federal,
state and local taxes for employees Qualifications Minimum
Qualifications: Completion of one of the following: five years of
payroll processing experience OR associate degree and not less than
two years of payroll processing experience OR Bachelor's
degree.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a
cohesive teamUtilize strong organizational and accuracy
skillsAbility to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the
positionExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to
manage multiple priorities at any given timeDeliver exceptional
customer service to internal and external constituentsStrong
computer skills including use of Microsoft Excel Desirable
Qualifications: Minimum two years of experience in payroll,
preferredExperience with a Human Capital Management System is
desirable and experience with UltiPro is preferredExperience with
UltiPro Business Intelligence reporting and state and local taxes
is a plusExperience processing multi-state payrollWorking knowledge
of state specific payroll regulationsExperience working with a team
