Myticas Consulting is currently seeking an IT Project Manager for a contract position with our direct client in Chicago, IL (Hybrid-remote).NOTE: Open for W2 candidates only!Job Description:Oversees several intermediate to large sized projects Department and/or Client's information technology (IT) projects.Assembles project teams, assigns individual responsibilities, develops project schedules and is responsible for determining and acquiring resources needed for projects.Familiar with the scope and requirements of projects and acts as liaison between team members and functional area management requesting project.Level of work is considered intermediate and staff must be able to work under minimal supervision.May lead or direct the work of others.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Plans, directs, and coordinates Bank and/or System project activities and resources to ensure project goals are completed on time, within budget and with optimum quality.A strong familiarity with various Agile and Scrum elements, including Agile planning and Agile project management with Scrum.Provides direction, prioritization, and conflict resolution in managing project teams to accomplish project objectives.Prepares and implements detailed project plans including definition of scope, requirements, objectives, resource allocation and task schedules and milestones.Communicates project goals and results to clients, Bank, and/or System management.May provide input on training, development, goal development and guidance to staff.Ensures ongoing use of and adherence to client's policies and practices including established project management methodologies and Technology Project Standards.Focusing on the project's critical components and ignore unnecessary or distracting work.Showing a comfort with quickly changing priorities, plus a highly developed adaptability and flexibility.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience2 to 5+ years of direct work related experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated project and risk management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, resources, customers and management with a focus on consistency and accuracySelf-motivated with excellent teamwork skillsAbility to think independently, make decisions and perform objective analysesPossesses broad and specific knowledge of principles, practices and procedures in the field of specialization to the completion of assignmentsAbility to explain and present complex topics to stakeholdersKnowledge of project-management software applications and methodologies ( i.E., Agile/Waterfall Methodologies, JIRA Tool, MS Project)Knowledge of IT Governance and Infrastructure, Application Development Lifecycle, Information Security InfrastructureFlexibility to handle fast changing conditions.#PandoUSPandoLogic.
