Job Description:

The Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for daily support functions essential to sales force productivity. These include periodic report generation, contract entry and maintenance, various systems or process related project assignments, sales process optimization, sales program implementation.The Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for increasing the administrative efficiency and helping to improve general productivity of the assigned category sales team. Reporting to the Manager of Sales Operations, the Sales Operations Specialist also works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the assigned project work is managed appropriately.MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIESSAP contract entry and maintenance.Coordinate with assigned category sales team to manage contracting/pricing templates to ensure accurate and timely contract entry.Coordinate with Customer Service, Transportation, Customer Advocacy, Credit and occasionally other internal functions as needed.Report generation for Commercial Sales Team.Potential work on projects, which may include any of the following: Sales updates, SAP enhancements, Report creation/upgrades, Master Data support, Other Projects as assigned.PERFORANCE MEASURES Contract Entry AccuracyTimely and effective execution of assigned project workProactive management of contracted volumesProactive management of invoice discrepancies/clean-upActive participation in Team meetingsLEGISLATIVE REQUIREMENTSCOMPETENCIES, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS COMPETENCIESThe qualified candidate will be a self-motivated, energetic individual who is highly process oriented and capable of anticipating Sales Account Manager needs and proactively adjusting to meet those needs. Also must be detailed oriented with the ability to work with various other internal functions to improve productivity of customer facing teams.QUALIFICATIONSThe qualified candidate will have a four year degree or relevant experience, preferably in business or a related field of study.EXPERIENCEThree to five years of experience in customer service or similar commercial functions.
