you belong here. Position SummaryThis role participates in the
complete EDW development lifecycle, including data profiling,
integration pipeline design and development, debugging/testing, and
support and enhancements. You will work closely with our
stakeholders and other members of MSB IT. We're looking for someone
who is data-driven, a great communicator, naturally curious, and
committed to professional/technical growth. This position reports
to the Team Lead - Data Engineering. Primary Accountabilities -
Discover, profile, and learn about the source systems' data being
ingested - Partner with peers within and outside the team, to
understand reporting and analysis requirements - Translate
requirements into data models, including relational and dimensional
(star-schema) marts - Design and develop ETL code to load and
transform the source data from various formats and sources
(databases, REST services) into the DW database. - Conduct thorough
peer review and testing of ETL code to ensure quality of data
produced - Keep documentation and metadata up-to-date to support
regulatory requirements - Conduct ETL and database performance
tuning, troubleshooting, support, and capacity estimation - Work
effectively and collaboratively with both Agile and waterfall
methodologies - Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations
including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) -
Participate in after-hours support processes as required Position
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (CS,
MIS) and 2+ years of IT experience; or a Master's degree in a
business or technical discipline. - Proficient SQL coding/querying
skills in a relational database such as Oracle, SQL Server, or
MySQL - Experience with relational database design/modeling using
tools such as ERstudio or ERwin - Experience with Business
Intelligence/Dashboarding tools such as Tableau, Cognos, or MS
Power BI - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Can work
independently and as part of a team. - Must be comfortable working
in a fast-paced, flexible environment, and take the initiative to
learn new tools quickly - Prior experience in Data Warehouse, Data
Engineering, or Analytics is a plus - Certifications (MCITP, TDWI)
