Basic Job Functions:

Skyline Steel, LLC, a division of Nucor, the nation's largest recycler and largest manufacturer of steel and steel products, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Master Scheduler.The Master Scheduler is responsible for coordinating with sales, plant management, and supply chain to effectively schedule production of orders based on demand and capacity. A successful Master Scheduler utilizes company assets (manufacturing, materials, manpower, etc.) in the most efficient manner possible to provide a low cost, high quality finished product per customer specifications and delivery requirements.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:--- Quoting Skyline projects, focusing on both pricing and availability--- Creating and maintaining a relationship with upstream divisions and procuring material for production--- Coordinating outbound shipments--- Quoting fabrication of third party products--- Ordering third party attachments and fabricated pieces--- Following up on quotes and maintaining a full order book of manufactured products

The role of Master Scheduler is an integral part of the Skyline team. Successful candidates will use their excellent in-person, verbal, and written communication skills to develop relationships across Skyline Steel, Nucor, and the industry. No travel is required for this role.
