Job Description SummaryJob DescriptionThe hours for this
position are 12pm - 8:30pm.Provide electronic, electro-mechanical,
mechanical, or similarly related inspectionPerforms dimensional and
visual inspection on a wide variety of incoming and outgoing
electrical/mechanical components, materials, and supplies against
drawings and quality instructions for damage and defects following
standard proceduresDocument inspection findings in the Quality
system detailing results, error and/or damage, etc. Verifies
compliance with industry standards and customer
requirementsCoordinates corrective actions with other support
functions ex. Quality, Admin, Eng.Ability in obtain and maintain
quality inspection stamp approvalUse plant equipment or machines as
required (i.e. CMM)Handle parts as directed by supervisorPerform
all tasks or operations per router instructions (i.e.
Proficy)Record all non-conformances in applicable systems (i.e.
TipQA)Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or
using computer.Store items in an orderly, Safe and accessible
manner in warehouses, stockroom or other areas within the
plant.Mark stock items using tags, or other labeling
equipment.Provide assistance or direction to other personnel as
needed.Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies
to customers or coworkers, based on information from incoming
requisitions.Maintain an excellent record of attendance and
punctualityWork in a team-based environmentMake decisions based on
experience and available dataAccept and provide constructive

non-repetitively, and sometimes lift over 35 pounds with
assistanceSuccessful candidate may be required to take classes in
team building, environmental health and safety, and/or other
on-the-job training to learn specific assignmentsComply with and

equivalentAble and willing to read blueprints, drawings,
schematicsAble and willing to read and understand applicable
information such as written instructions, procedures and
specifications that apply to daily work operationsFamiliarity with
inspection toolsAbility to become IPC-610 certifiedParticipate in
required medical surveillance programs and vision tests (i.e. eye
examinations)DESIRED:1 year of experience in
electronic/mechanical/electro-mechanical InspectionAble and willing
to perform mechanical measurements using scales, calipers, and
gaugesAble and willing to operate a Manual Cordax CMM
machineSoldering experienceAble and willing to become IPC-610
certifiedThis role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S.
citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals
under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))
due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require
