investors.In this role, you will serve as a technical subject
matter expert in the Financial Planning area. Much of this work
requires a broad and deep understanding of financial planning, the
firm's Advice & Guidance (A&G), and the branch and client
experience. This role requires informal people leadership through
large firm initiatives and formal thought leadership.

Join the Financial Planning Standards and Processes team to help
shape the future service offerings at Edward Jones. As a senior
associate, you'll serve as subject matter expert for financial
planning at the firm, using your advanced knowledge of all aspects
of planning to enhance our ability to serve our clients.
Partner with internal Financial
Planning units to help create and shape Financial Planning
Standards at Edward Jones. Serve as a subject matter expert for
financial planning at the firm. Includes advanced knowledge of all
aspects of planning and our firm's A&G beyond goals and
inclusive of various client needs. Actively representing Edward
Jones in the industry for financial planningEvaluate firm content
to ensure consistency and alignment with financial Planning
standards. Has a thorough understanding of Edward Jones business
model, investment philosophy and values.Serve as a deep subject
matter expert (SME) for key stakeholders (Training, Service, Wealth
Management Advice and Solutions) and branch teams to ensure the
integrity of planning standards upheld through application and
messaging.Collaborate with key stakeholders as the Financial
Planning SME throughout the life cycle of projects, including
planning, design and implementation.Work in partnership with other
firm areas (Service, Field Supervision, Compliance, Legal,
Operations) to problem-solve complex issues that arise.For advanced
topics, production issues and/or complex branch team escalations,
coordinate needed expertise from other A&G units. Monitor
industry trends, competitors, and regulatory changes. Assess how
those trends impact our business, messaging, and the application of
our A&G toward financial planning. Achieve results with and
through others; serve as a mentor to others within Financial
planning.Requirements:
Bachelors Degree7+ years of relevant
financial services experienceCFP requiredCPA, CFA, law degree or
other relevant license is strongly preferredSeries 7 and 66
required within 6 months of hire, consistent with department
policyBroad exposure to and strong foundational knowledge of
investments, financial planning, financial planning tools and
project management process
