Executive Assistant - ABQ

Performs a wide range of clerical, administrative, and general office support of a highly responsible and confidential nature requiring broad experience, skill, and knowledge of the organization's policies and practices. Exercises occasional discretion and independent judgment to relieve the executive of as many administrative details as possible. Maintains records, obtains and organizes information, takes and transcribes dictation, makes calculations, and performs a variety of follow-through functions.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or five (5) years of clerical and administrative support experience and demonstrated skills in shorthand, typing, personal computer word processing, spreadsheet and database software; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write clearly. Ability to speak effectively.
Ability to apply basic math concepts.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be extremely knowledgeable in background screening, ADP Database software; Human Resource Information Systems; Internet software; Spreadsheet software, Word Processing software, and PowerPoint presentation software .

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and use their hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
