Intern, QA - Supplier Quality in Rensselaer, NY

Quality Operations provides oversight and management of Quality Systems, Information & Records Management to ensure safety, quality and compliance of Curia's products and services for the Rensselaer site. QA team ensures the quality of Curia's GMP manufacturing and testing services through routine review of documentation, including procedures, batch records and laboratory records.

In this role, you will:

• The project(s) would be within a specific area, which would be identified upon acceptance; however, the following areas are potential areas that the incumbent would support:
  
• Risk Management and Assessments
  
• Supplier Management Systems and Strategic Projects
  
• Create Data Visualization Tools - dashboards, metrics for Supplier Quality
  
• Contribute to Document organization for Audits and participate in audits by providing supporting documents.
  
• To assist in key projects spanning the full spectrum of quality system support including system and product monitoring, risk analysis and management, change management, continuous improvement, communication strategy models.
  
• Assist in verifying Approved Supplier List and identify any gaps any found.
  
• Scan paper documents as necessary and create a tracker for the scanned documents.
  
  To be successful in this role, you will have:
  
• Candidates must be a pursuing at least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Sciences, Regulatory
  
• Candidates must have proficient in use of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint.
  
• Candidates must be detail oriented in performing work and reviewing any documents.
  
• Self-motivated and possess the desire to drive a project to completion. Flexible and can work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  
• Candidates must have demonstrated interpersonal skills including flexibility, collaboration and inclusion skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
  
• Candidates must have demonstrated self-starter with capability to develop innovative solutions to challenges.
  
• Candidates must have proven analytical aptitude, critical thinking skills, and ability to apply key concepts.
  
• Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
