Job Description Analytical Chemist - Decatur, ILThis is a full time, exempt level position.Responsibilities:Duties will include performing assays and developing methods in support of the research division of ADM.
The position will involve development and application of sophisticated instrumental methods utilizing LC/MS, HPLC, GC/MS, GC, ICP, ICP/MS, FTIR and laboratory robotics.Requirements:The candidate must have a minimum of a B.S. degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or a closely related field with at least 5 years relevant laboratory experience.
Practice with LC/MS, HPLC, GC/MS and GC is preferred.
Analysis of food, natural products, organic synthesis or fermentation systems is desired.
Written and oral communication skills are critical. Successful candidates must have the ability to work independently and interact well with people.This position offers a complete benefit package, including 401K/ESOP, pension, health, life and dental insurance.
