As a NDT Tech Visual you will:

Primary Responsibilities

The NDT technician is part of a team that provides visual weld inspections and other non-destructive inspection to the steel fabrications assembly group.
The team performs receiving, in-stream processes, and outgoing quality audits to validate cast and fabricated structures per weld engineering and manufacturing specifications.
Individuals are responsible for tracking and entering inspection results in electronic databases.
The technician would be based in the production factory building.


The ideal candidate will have:
An associate degree in nondestructive testing or equivalent work experience.
NDT certifications, especially Visual Welding Inspection preferred
Related technical experience in NDT methods and processes
An understanding of how to operate NDT equipment
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Keen attention to detail and ability to follow directions


This is a full time, direct hire opportunity.

Shift: 2nd or 3rd shift

Location: Decatur, IL, 62526

Pay Rate: $21- $26 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
