This is an exempt level position.

Position Summary:
This position offers the opportunity to participate in an active role supporting the mission of a Fortune 500 Global Security team with an emphasis on geopolitical intelligence analysis. The role will enhance our Risk & Intel Analysis team's ability to monitor and protect ADM's physical assets and human capital; assess and respond to enterprise level threats; and rapidly analyze and communicate critical information to key stakeholders. As a Global Security Risk Analyst, you will use your critical thinking skills and attention to detail to develop reports, intelligence products, and analytical assessments to give our customer the actionable intelligence and context they need. The candidate will be responsible for gathering & analyzing physical security-related intelligence information from a variety of data sources, both private and public, in order to evaluate & anticipate security risks and threats related to ADM's brand, operations, and personnel. The position will see the candidate create and maintain accurate & timely notifications and/or briefings to Global Security leadership and company stakeholders around the world. The role also supports a variety of Global Security-related programs, including reporting & analytics, travel risk management, and insider risk.


  • Monitor current global events with an understanding of how they may impact ADM's people, operations, or brand.
  • Gather and analyze information from a variety of public/private data sources including open-source intelligence, social-media platforms, and other specific intelligence gathering tools for known and potential threats.
  • Create intelligence assessments on a wide range of topics relevant to Global Security and ADM.
  • Communicate assessments effectively through various methods, both written and oral, to leadership and other colleagues.
  • Monitor, support, and conduct outreach to company travelers.
  • Support Global Security crisis preparedness and management by developing relevant threat information to support decision making.
  • Collaborate with other analysts and members of Global Security worldwide.
    • Well-developed critical thinking and analytical skills combined with excellent writing skills.
    • Expected to possess an intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn new skills and methods.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer service-oriented approach.
    • Able to quickly and effectively synthesize and summarize information from multiple sources into concise, analytical assessments.
    • Able to hear/speak clearly in order to effectively communicate in-person, by phone, or via radio.
    • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time, with extensive computer, phone and radio use. Standing, bending, and kneeling will also be necessary.
    • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to become proficient with other computer programs, tools, and platforms as required.
    • Must have a motivated personality, ability to work effectively within a team environment, and have the willingness to take initiative when required.
    • Ability to perform research and create briefing products with limited oversight.
    • Must demonstrate high levels of integrity with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
    • Able to multi-task effectively, while maintaining a calm demeanor, during stressful and emergency situations.
    • Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor.
    • Flexibility regarding availability and willingness to manage crises outside normal business hours.
    • 1-2 years of experience and a minimum bachelors degree.
