You will be reporting to the Head of Category Planning and Development, providing insightful analysis, decision support and creation of management tools.This role requires great commercial acumen and attention to detail. Could you be ours?The RoleThe role of Commercial Analyst for Primary Products is responsible for supporting the Primary Product sales and commercial organization with insightful analysis, decision support and creation of management tools.Main accountabilities:This role will work closely with Head of Category Development and Planning, Product Line management teams and the and finance to balance and reconcile customer balances, shipments and pricing. Coordination and communication of corn future purchases on customer's behalf in conjunction with overseeing assignment of corn values for our customers.

  • Calculation of customer invoice pricing and accurate entry of pricing components within the T&L SAP system
  • Record keeping following audit guidelines
  • Research and resolve invoice price issues and respond to various data requests
  • Work closely with the Head of CPD and the PP Finance team, to help design and deliver new reporting and support tools to drive greater effectiveness and efficiency of the sales organization (examples might include development of new reports within CRM module, tailored Business Warehouse reports and customer/regional/product specific reports).
  • Manage and continue to improve a contract compliance report that is built to suit account management needs, that allows sellers to drive contract performance.
  • Responsible for the analysis and reporting of salesperson specific performance in an on-going effort to increase overall sales productivity, report progress and deliver business financial goals.
  • Creation and distribution of both standardized and ad hoc reports for commercial team
  • Take ownership for the development, maintenance, analysis and reporting associated with the price and volume tracking tools used to support the commercial and sales organization through the annual contracting round.
  • Establish and implement tools that effectively track and monitor contracting and price anomalies during contracting round and throughout the year. Work to understand root cause issues from the system standpoint or to investigate with sales operations any user error issues.
  • Be an active member of the super-user network for CRM, SalesForce.com (SFDC), SAP and BW and support the commercial teams with challenges and enhancements.
  • Provide insights and tools to help understand different pricing scenarios and rebate ramifications to overall account and territory profitability.
  • Provide historical data and trend analysis to help improve contracting accuracy, S&OP forecasting and AOP phasing.
