About the role

• The position is the Local EHS Team Leader and will provide technical safety and health support for all aspects of the plant. This includes the development and implementation of programs and objectives and day-to-day support for safety and health initiatives for all areas. More specifically, you will be responsible for:
  • Preparing, implementing, and positively promoting EHS Management Systems
  • Reviewing EHS performance to ensure company objectives and expectations are met
  • Involving al employees in the relevant EHS plans for activities and services
  • Assessing the existence and effectiveness of EHS plans through audits and reviews
  • Reviewing and tracking corrective actions for all incidents, defects, hazards, inadequacies of procedures and suggested improvements
  • Implementing leadership requirements specified in the EHS Management Standards
  • Lead safety teams and Incident Investigations
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of applicable safety requirementsWhat you bring to us:
    • Bachelor's degree in related field, CSP preferred
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in process/food industrial environment
    • Previous safety management experience
    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
    • Experience in root cause investigation techniques
    • Knowledgeable of Environmental and Safety Compliance is preferred
