PURPOSE OF POSITION Responsible for ensuring that all inbound and outbound shipments meet customer and Nortrak requirements. Tasks and Responsibilities Verify accuracy of shipments (Part number, Serial number, Quantities, Weights, Etc.) Create shipping paperwork as per customer and Nortrak guidelines and by referencing Plant backlogCoordinate shipments via phone, email and web applicationsEnsure accuracy of monthly inventory counts Coordinate resources of shipping department and other departments to ensure order requirements are met Transport product between buildings Keep shipping areas organized, clean, and free of clutter; maintaining clear aisles Load and unload trucks by forklift Move incoming material to designated departments, or warehouse location Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor; sweep, empty trash, break down cardboard, sort skids, repackage/stage material for shipment, etc. Organize and store or dispose of barrels, skids and other items that clutter outside of building Pull and store finished goods and maintain an organized finished goods area Comply with the company's safety policies and procedures Able to lift up to 50lbs routinely and up to 75lbs periodically Adhere to Nortrak's Safety, Quality and Environmental Procedures, Practices and Policies Physical Demands:Prolonged periods of standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching or climbing.Use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms.Regularly lift and move up to 10-15 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Hearing abilities related to job assigned.
