**Transportation Recording Clerk II Decatur, IL**Decatur IL - Illinois Non-ExemptJob Description**Transportation Recording Clerk II Decatur, IL**This is a full-time, non-exempt level position. **Job Responsibilities:*** Process LTL and/or truckload invoices in various systems: paper, EDI, web, Maximo* Responsible for averaging freight payments within 15 days* Manage relationships with assigned carriers* Run and review various error and aging reports* Address emails from carriers in a timely manner* Sort and process incoming mail* Scan and save documents* Manage incoming calls regarding open freightAbove tasks must be completed as stated above. Duties are subject to change and list does not include all responsibilities. **Job Requirements:*** H.S. diploma or GED required plus minimum of 2 years equivalent general office/accounting experience preferred* Excellent data entry, keyboard, multi-line telephone and ten key skills* Basic understanding of mathematical/accounting procedures is required* Attention to detail and the ability to locate discrepancies are essential for this position* Ability to work independently as well as on a team* Excellent organizational and time-management skills* Knowledge of Maximo, OPGO, CICS, and IMS systems preferred* Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is requiredRelocation assistance is not available with this position.
