Supply Chain Lead to join our organization. The scope of the supply chain Lead for North America is to manage people, processes and systems across Demand, Supply , Customer Service,
logistics , procurement (Call offs) & Inventory Management, as well as the planning frameworks, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE). The role manages processes for balancing demand and supply choices. It has the accountability to assist and manage the identification and resolution of plan variances, inventory, cost and providing outstanding customer service optimization in alignment to the business objectivesThis person is a well-rounded individual who encompasses analytical, communication, people and leadership skills with strong business and commercial acumen. They can work under pressure and cross-functionally, to drive sound decision making with a result-oriented focus. . They can quickly identify deviations from expected results and other disruptions and can promptly lead their teams to resolve any issues, fostering a high performance and engaged culture.Your ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Global Supply Chain Director Health & Wellness; the incumbent will be responsible for:Strategic Responsibilities:Process Owner and ImproverDevelop & Manage demand and supply teams including supply network planning and optimization to develop monthly S&OP input (medium- or long-term demand and supply plans and working capital position).Document the current process description in the S&OP and S&OE playbooks and update when needed.Drive and own improvements in planning systems, reporting, teams and processes (including interfaces in and out of other functional and cross-functional processes) through the development of supporting business cases.Implement and facilitate role out of new systemsFacilitate and drive the analysis of network supply performance and provide input to improvement initiatives to optimize inventory, reduce obsolescence across the network, optimize customer service and maximize production efficiencyTaking ownership of customers issues and following problems through to resolutionEnsure accurate, and complete planning of raw materials, components, and production supplies,
related to the capacity planning, ordering, expediting and procurement of raw materials and production supplies as assigned.Influencer/CollaboratorAssist in development of annual and strategic plans and reconcile them with monetized S&OP plans. Drive resolution of gaps to plans and communicate and escalate critical gaps between the plans in the S&OP process.Influence and collaborate with key partners in marketing, sales (field sales, corporate sales managers and directors), operations and finance and address input gaps as identified by forecast error, bias and volatility review, supplier performance, supply constraints and other means.Manage teams of planners to continually assess operational network planning assumptions in conjunction with purchasing, planning, manufacturing operations and logistics/warehousing including safety stocks, lead times, order quantities, campaign or production strategy, batch yields and cycle times.Conduct and/or facilitate what-if analysis to create alternate scenarios for reconciling demand, supply and financial plans.Tracker of Information/Converter of InformationEnsure that demand and supply plans are shared/received in the format, level of detail and timing required by all customers and supply chain partners, with documented assumptions, to achieve the various business objectives.Analyze and lead the analysis and management of inventory investment to ensure optimized inventory, cost and service levels.Innovator/Decision MakerWork with various cross-functional teams on projects such as new product launches, line extensions, product discontinuations, promotions and events. Demonstrate sound business decision making aligned with company goals.KPI ManagementDeveloping, implementing and monitoring key S&OP KPIs impacted by demand and supply planning activities and outputs.Developing, implementing and monitoring OTIF for outbound orders , measure service according to plan and root cause analysis & improvement process.Successful CandidateKnowledge: Ability to use technology tools that facilitate collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Development of an S&OP process that can best balance our demand and supply, improving our warehousing and transportation processes, optimizing inventory and network, building talent in our supply chain team, and finally delivering outstanding service to our customers.Skills: Ability to use technology tools that facilitate collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Information Seeking: The ability to translate business goals and metrics into business process outcomes and related business cases for specific projectsImpact / Success Measures Ability to use technology tools that facilitate collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Accountable to deliver Supply Chain costs at agreed targetsProcess maturity across different parts of the organization through an assessment of the current state and process adherence metrics.Successful project implementation (time, cost, benefit) to improve the process and embed it across the different business units and geographies.Capacity utilization and accuracy - rough cut capacity plan (RCCP), air freight cost, write-offs.Working capital: (actual stock vs. target or planned safety stock levels, overall inventory value, cycle stock, forward days cover, inventory turns).A forecast measured via accuracy, bias and forecast value add, with ranges that is shaped and finalized through a collaborative, consensus-driven process that optimizes the balance between market opportunity and supply network capability.Lead the policy/process of finished products and materials inventories in warehouses to achieve the correct balance between financial expense, service level and risksExperience5 -10 years of experience in Supply Chain (demand/ supply/ inventory role, Customer Service , Logistics, Procurement)Successfully lead implementation and rollout of software solutions insuring integration and user adoptionUnderstanding of end-to-end planning and supply chain management.Proven people and line management experience.Demonstrated ability to achieve KPIs like plan accuracy improvement, process adherence, stock turns, return on investment and project completion.Project management, communication and presentation skills.Good level in English (Spanish and French are optional).
