Job Description Warehouse Clerk - Decatur, ILThis is a full-time, non-exempt level position.Position Summary:This role involves working within the company warehouse management system, IBM system, coordinating inventory stocks, bill paying, and facilitation of payroll.Job Responsibilities:General gatekeeper for the location - answer phone, transfer calls, coordinate with the scale clerk, domestic shipment clerk, export clerk, and inventory clerkInbound/outbound shipment accuracy including exceptions, reconciliation and corrections within warehouse management systemReports covering inventory, scale logs, shipments and inbound loads, breaking down BOL'sMake custom placards and labels and assist other clerks with accuracyKeep a general overview of the warehouse management system and being proactive in keeping accuracy to a maximumTracking cycle counts, returned goods within inventory, logging damaged productReports covering reconciliation, unload receipts, transfers and adjustmentsAdjusting Warehouse Management System and IBMDaily tracking and submission of weekly payroll and tracking absenteeismScheduling for truck appointmentsCoordinate with commercial teams and CSR's to ensure proper procedures are followedCoordinate and ensure accuracy of Returned Goods Authorization formsCommunicate with processing plant personnel to resolve inventory issuesManages documentation and strictly follows record retention policesWorks within the purchasing system to buy supplies for the warehouseAssists with truck scale operationsJob Requirements:High School Education or Associates DegreeSome knowledge of IBM-IVGO OPGO and Warehouse Management System is a plusProficient with computers and software including but not limited to; Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPointExcited about this role but don't meet every requirement listed?
