Summary:The Maintenance/Millwright position will provide support of
preventative and failure based maintenance as required by the
plant's needs. Installs and maintains machinery and equipment using
hoists, lift trucks, hand tools and power tools. The position works
to accomplish priorities of day-to-day operations and resolve
related problems. Assist with reliability troubleshooting as
needed.Job Responsibilities:The position responsibilities include,
but are not limited to, the following:Repair/troubleshoot equipment
of varying typesRepair belt and chain drive assembliesProficient
welding skills with wire techniques (minimum.)Proficient with field
fabrication and construction.Basic knowledge of all hand toolsBasic
knowledge of equipment alignments/PM'sBasic working knowledge of
shop machinery is helpfulStand for long periods of timeAbility to
climb ladders/stairs, work with heights and perform confined space
entryForklift driving experience is helpfulWatch for and report all
safety issuesFollow all GMP and HACCP policiesEffectively
communicate with co-workers and supervisorsCommitment to ADM's goal
of achieving a zero injury culture by being an active participant
in safety programsUnderstand and follow company safety

experience in a manufacturing environment, and/or a strong
mechanical background to include a minimum of 3-5 years of hands on
maintenance and/or millwright experienceHigh School Diploma or
GEDTechnical school training as mechanic or equivalent highly
desiredThe position requires someone who is willing to learn
through on-the-job training and/or outside trainingWilling and able
to take formal trade school courses as selected by ADM management
and take such courses on a continuing basis during the training
periodPossess excellent communication skillsPrepared to perform all
tasks in safe mannerRead, understand and follow verbal and written
instructions and SOP'sWilling to work rotating shifts, weekends,
holidays, and available for unscheduled call-in needs or overtime
as neededDemonstrate initiative to work independently while
flexible enough to work in team setting when neededExhibit a
professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful
attitudePreferred, but not required:Basic welding, layout and
fabrication skillsExperience with V-belt and Chain driveMachine
troubleshooting and repair skills
Experience with 480 volt - 3 phase motor circuits
Hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge a plusKnowledge of HVAC systems,
and/or electrical backgroundPhysical Requirements:Able to lift and
transport materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a
frequent basis and up to 55 pounds overheadAble to traverse up to
two (2) miles during the course of a work day and to move about or
to a work site by stooping, bending, kneeling or squatting
frequently during the course of a work dayMay require periods of
prolonged sitting or standingAble to operate equipment or
diagnose/detect issues of machinery that may be located at
different heights, at times requiring work on ladders, scaffolding
or other work at heights or in confined spacesRequires a full range
of physical motion in order to operate manual and electrically
powered tools and electrical test equipment, to move throughout the
facility, including climbing stairs in all buildings, and use of
man lifts The scope of the position may require exposure to and use
of chemicals, solvents, and cleaners common to mechanical work that
may be hazardous and/or cause injury if specific instructions
regarding their mixture, use, and disposal/storage are not properly
followedHave the ability to climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand
for long periods, work in confined spaces, work with heights, work
in cold/hot temperatures and a dusty environment and be respirator
