Prospect and call potential customersFirst point of contact for
phone and web inquiries, including basic applications support and
referral to appropriate channels.Facilitate and manage product
samples and technical document requests and capture all pertinent
data. Manage process for potential sale.Power user of CRM
SalesForce.com, daily interaction, logging all pertinent activity
and customer notes, manager and updating pipeline.Understand the
needs and the expectations of the customers. Report or provide
relevant solutions if necessary.Work closely with cross-functional
team to maximize short and long-term profitable growth.Channel and
log suggestions, inquires and complaints to the appropriate
people/systems.Market research and investigation to related
competitive products and marketing strategies. Develop a clear
understanding of how commodity futures markets influence pricing of
products.Follow determined reporting structures and report
compilation.STRENGTHS OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE Able to complete an
internship in the summer (May/June-August 2024)Must be
geographically flexible to relocate to ADM sitesPursuing a
four-year degree in Sales, Business, Agriculture-related, or
science related field with an anticipated graduation between
December 2024 and Summer 2026Preferred GPA of 2.8 or greater
Knowledge of Microsoft Office softwareAbility to function
effectively, both independently and with a teamExcellent verbal and
written communication skills as well as the ability to collaborate
within various levels of an organizationADM requires the successful
completion of a background check.Outgoing personality with
eagerness to assist customers via phone, web, and trade
showsINTERNSHIP DETAILSInternships are 10-12 weeks in
durationInterns are responsible for transportation to and from
workInterns who demonstrate high potential and engagement may be
offered another internship if still pursuing a degree, or a
full-time position after graduationADM requires the successful
